Install the Call Orders TV app

The Call Orders TV app turns an Android Smart TV (or box) into a dedicated display, with automatic connection on startup. You download it directly from our website.

1. Download the app

From your Android TV or device, open the call-orders.com website and download the Call Orders TV app (APK file). The download button is in the “On your television” section.

2. Allow installation (unknown source)

The app does not go through the Play Store, so Android asks for your permission once. This is normal and safe.

1. Once the download is finished, open the APK file (from the browser’s download bar or the Files app).
2. Android shows: “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.” Tap “Settings”.
3. Turn on “Allow from this source” for the browser you are using (for example Chrome).
4. Go back, then tap “Install”.
5. If Play Protect shows a warning (unverified app), tap “More details” then “Install anyway”.
6. Once installed, open the app.

Tip: you can also prepare the permission in advance in Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps, then choose your browser and turn on “Allow from this source”.

Your device stays protected: Play Protect keeps scanning apps even after this permission.

3. Connect the screen

1. Open the Call Orders TV app.
2. Enter the 5 characters of your TV code (the TV- prefix is already shown). Your code is in your dashboard, TV Screen tab.
3. Choose Landscape or Portrait orientation.
4. Confirm with “Connect”.

The screen connects and shows your calls. The app remembers your code: next time, the TV screen opens directly.

Back to setup

To enter another code, press the Back button on the remote several times quickly: the app returns to the code entry screen.

Announcement sound

The app enables audio playback automatically: voice announcements play without any action.
