Connect a receipt printer
Epson, Star, or another brand: tickets print in the kitchen, at the bar, or at the counter.
A receipt printer connected to the restaurant network is all you need, with no software to install. It retrieves waiting tickets automatically on its own.
Add the printer
- In Settings, in the “Printers” section, tap “Add a printer” and choose its brand.
- Epson or Star: copy the address given by Call Orders and paste it into the printer configuration page.
- Other brand: enter the printer IP address. A Call Orders TV box then acts as a relay: on the box, press the Menu button on the remote, open Printers, then enter the pairing code shown.
- Set what it prints: kitchen ticket, customer ticket, receipt. Then run a “Test ticket”.
Receipt header
Enter the company name, business registration number, and VAT number that appear at the top of your receipts.
If it stops responding
A printer that is turned off, out of paper, or unplugged appears in red in the Printers section, along with what to check. No tickets are lost: they print as soon as the printer comes back online.
